Celebrating its first Christmas in 1972, Robert's Christmas Wonderland has been a Tampa Bay family tradition for over 40 years. Originally, Robert's was called Robert's Christmas World and was located off Highway 19 in Pinellas Park, Florida. For years, Robert's was only opened seasonally.
Meanwhile, in Clearwater, at the current location, was another store named Christmas Wonderland. It stayed opened all year, but Christmas wasn't always its main emphasis. During summer, it sold above-ground swimming pools!
In 1990, everything changed. Robert's Christmas World and Christmas Wonderland merged. The Pinellas Park location moved into the larger building in Clearwater which then became Robert's Christmas Wonderland. At that point, it was all about Christmas... everyday!
Now one of the largest and most beautiful Christmas specialty stores in the southeast United States, Robert's stays open year-round with a selection of ornaments, collectibles and gifts numbering into the thousands. Almost every lifelike Christmas tree at Robert's uses the highest-quality commercial grade lighting. Robert's stays up-to-date with all the latest holiday trends while never taking its eyes off of the joy and wonder of a Classic Christmas. It can truly be said, Robert's is a Christmas Wonderland for all ages to enjoy!
